RESOLUTION NO. 17-047
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND,
WASHINGTON, ACCEPTING A DONATION OF REAL PROPERTY FROM MORGAN
TJEMSLAND FOR RIGHT-OF-WAY
WHEREAS, Morgan Tjemsland owns a small piece of property (187 square feet) located
adjacent to Discovery Road and the 7t" Street and Baker Street rights-of-way that he wishes to
donate to the City for right-of-way purposes; and
WHEREAS, Section 3.42.060C of the Port Townsend Municipal Code requires donations of
real property to be accepted by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is in the best interests of the City to
accept the donation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port
Townsend as follows:
Section 1. The City accepts the generous donation from Morgan Tjemsland as set forth in the
Recitals.
Section 2. The City Manager is authorized to take all administrative actions consistent with
this Resolution.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend at a regular meeting
thereof, held this 2nd day of October, 2017.
