The City of Port Townsend will be accepting bids for the Port Townsend Library Improvements
project until 3:00 p.m. Thursday, September 14, 2017 at the City of Port Townsend, 250
Madison St #2, Port Townsend, WA 98368, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and
read. Any bids received after the specified time and date will not be considered.
Obtaining Bid Packages: Plans, specifications, addenda, and plan holders list for this project will
be available on-line beginning Monday, August 28, 2017, through Builders Exchange of
Washington, Inc. at http://www.bxwa.com. Click on “bxwa.com”; “Posted Projects”; “Public
Works”, “City of Port Townsend”, “Projects Bidding”, and “Project Bid Date”. Bidders must
“Register as a Bidder”, in order to receive automatic e-mail notification of future addenda and to
be placed on the “Bidders List”. This service is provided free of charge to Prime Bidders,
