ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE VACATING SIXTH STREET
BETWEEN SHERMAN AND HENDRICKS STREETS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TO~fNSEND, IN REGULAR
SESSION ASSEMBLED, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That portion of Sixth Street between Sherman
and Hendricks Streets, be and the same is hereby vacated.
Section 2. A tWelve (12) foot utility easement, running
six (6) feet on either side from the centerline of the aforesaid
vacated street, is hereby retained by the City of Port Townsend.
Section 3. This ~rdinance shall take effect upon its passage,
approval and publication in the form and manner provided by law.
Read for the first, second and third times, passed by the
Council and approved by the Mayor on June 5, 1979.
