AN ORDINANCE REDEDICATING PORTIONS CLAREMONT STREET AND CALUMET STREE DEDICATING A STREET KNOWN AS ~'T~ 3: 36 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, IN REGULAR SESSION ASSEMBLED, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. A portion of real property owned in fee simple by the City of POrt Townsend, not dedicated as a street or streets, and therefore not subject to reversion to the original owner or owners in the event of future vacation, is here and hereby established as a public street and right of way, to-wit: That portion of vacated Claremont Street lying between Block 68 and Block 7*~of Fowler's Park Addition to the City, and lying Easterly of the following described lin~: Beginning at the most Easterly corner of LO~ 7 in said Block 73; thence East along the South line of said Claremont Street to the center line of the vacated alley in said Block 73 and the true point of beginning of said line; thence North 45° 04' 12" West. to the center line of said Claremont Street; thenc~ Northeasterly to the Southeast corner of Lot 7 in said Block 68, the terminus of said line; together with all that portion of vacated Calumet Street lying ~South of said Block 73; and the Southwesterly 60 feet Lots 8 through 18, inclusive, in said Block 73, together with all of the vacated alley lying between Lots through 14 and Lots 15 through 18, and together with the Northeast half of the vacated alley abutting the Southwesterly lines of Lots 8, 9 and 18 in said Block 73. Said street to be known as Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon: (1) passage, approval and publication in the manner provided by law; (2) recording of a copy of said ordinance with the Auditor of Jefferson County, Washington; and (3) payment of costs of publication and filing by the applicants and grantors of the streets herein dedicated.
