AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING AN ARTS 'CO~ISSION.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF~' PORT TOWNSEND, IN P~EGULAR SESSION
ASSEMBLED, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Sec,!on 1. There iS~hereby created'~a'board of Arts Commis-
sioners, COnSisting of .sev~n members, ~'to be appointed by the Mayor
with the consent of the City'Council from citizens of recognized
fitness for such po~itions.
Sectign. 2.! This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage,
approval, and publication in-the'form andmanner required by law.
Read for the first, second~ and third.~times, passed by ~he
Council and approved by t ~he Mayor on January 8, 1980.-
