AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $58,200.00 TO
VARIOUS FUNDS AND~DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND,. IN REGULAR SESSION ASSEMBLED,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The following appropriations are here and hereby made as
supplemental to the 1980 budget of the City of Port Townsend:
Current Expense - $17,000.to Garbage Collection SerVice (010.534.50.31)
with $17,000 additional revenue generated from Garbage Collection
(010.343.75).
Water/Sewer - $30,000 to Construction Projects for fence around Lords
Lake (411.534.30.65) to be offset by $30,000 reduction in Ending Fund
Balance (411.501.00).
Firemen's Pension and Relief - $2,200 increase to retirement for cost
of living increases to retirees (610.514.33.13.02)to be offset by
$2,200 reduction in Ending Fund Balance (610.501.00).
Federal Shared Revenue - $500 to Park Construction (199.533.50.65.04)
for appraisal review on lease purchase on Kah Tai Park Application to
be offset by $500 reduction in Volunteer Mileage (199.533.50.33).
Appropriate Technology Grant Fund - $9,000 for Construction of Windmill
(330.534.10.65) to be funded by $9,000 direct Federal Grant (330.331.30).
Section 2. There is here and hereby found and declared to be an
emergency requiring the foregoing appropriations to the said 1980 Budget of the
City of Port Town~end.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage, approval,
and publication in the form and manner provided by law.
Read for the first time on December 2, 1980. Read for the second and
third times, passed by the Council and approved by the Mayor on December 16, 1980.
