AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING SALARIES
AND WAGES EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 1981.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND IN REGULAR SESSION
ASSEMBLED, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. From and after January 1, 1981, the salaries of the
following City Employees are fixed at not to exceed the following sums,
which salaries shall be paid monthly:
City Attorney
Clerk-Treasurer
Deputy Treasurer
Police Chief
Patrolman 1st Class
Patrolman 3rd Class
Meterperson
Fire Chief
Assistant Fire Chief
Firefighter
Poundmaster
Street and Sewer Superintendent
Work Supervisor
Equipment Operator
Park Superintendent
Water Superintendent
Meter Reader
Utility Accountant
Treatment Plant Operator
Assistant Treatment Plant Operator
Maintenance Assistant
Billing Clerk
Equipment Superintendent
Mechanic
Equipment Trainee
Street Maintenance Trainee
Secretary
Deputy Clerk-Treasurer

Section 2. Effective January 1, 1981, and thereafter the maximum
hourly wage for City Employees shall be $12.50, and may be less where
designated by the Mayor.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage, approval,
and publication in the form and manner provided by law.
