AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING SALARIES
AND WAGES EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 1981
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND IN REGULAR SESSION
ASSEMBLED, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. From and after July 1, 1981, the salaries of the follow-
ing City Employees are fixed at not to exceed the following sums, which
salaries shall be paid monthly:
City Attorney
Clerk-Treasurer
Deputy Treasurer
Police Chief
Police Sergeant
Patrolman-lst Class
Patrolman-3rd Class
Meterperson
Fire Chief
Assistant Fire Chief
Firefighter-lst Class
Firefighter-3rd Class

Section 2. Effective July 1, 1981, and thereafter the maximum hourly
wage for City Employees shall be $15.00, and may be less where designated
by the Mayor.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage, approval,
and publication in the form and manner provided by law.
