AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE
LEASE OF A PORTION OF HARRISON
STREET LYING SOUTH OF WATER
STREET
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, IN REGULAR SESSION
ASSEMBLED, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
and directed to enter into a lease to Jefferson National Bank of
ten years, for a rental of $I00.$0 per year, of the portion of
Harrison Street consisting of the 110 feet lying immediately South
of Water Street, for parking purposes, and upon condition that
said bank shall contribute the sum of $~D.d~ to the con-
struction of a City park on that portion of Harrison Street South
of the leased portion.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
passage, approval and publication in the manner provided by law.
Read for the first, second and third times, passed and
approved February 16, 1982.
