AN ORDINANCE REZONING TAX LOTS 26 AND 42 AND
TAX LOT 29 FROM R1-A TO C-II, kND AMENDING THE
OFFICIAL ZONING M~P.
WHEREAS, due hearing has been had, and appropriate findings
made, as provided by Ordinance No. 1625,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, IN REGULAR SESSION
ASSEMBLED, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The official zoning map of the City is here and
hereby amended to change from R-IA zoning to C-II zoning those landS
in Port Townsend, described as follows:
(A) That portion of the Southeast Quarter of the
Southwest Quarter of Section 9, Township 30
North, Range 1. W.W.M., described as follows:
Beginning at the South Quarter corner of said
Section 9; thence South 80° 37' 00" West, along
the South line of said Section 9, a distance
of 331 feet to the true point of beginning,
thence North 25° 10' 35" West 240.25 feet,
more or less, to the Southeasterly margin of
State Highway;
thence Southwesterly, along said Southeasterly
margin, 150 feet, more or less, to the North-
easterly boundary of Glen Cove County Road;
thence South 42° 56' 45" East, along said
Northeasterly boundary, 152.0 feet, more or
less, to the South line of said Section 9;
thence North 89° 37' 00" East, along said
South line, 97.1 feet more or less, to the true
point of beginning. Situate in the City of Port
Townsend, County of Jefferson, State of Washington.
Tax No. 29.

That portion of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest
Quarter of Section 9, Township 30 North, Range 1 West,
W.M., in Jefferson County, Washington described as
follows:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the South
line of said Section 9, with the Northwesterly margin
of State Road No. 9; thence Northeasterly along said
Northwesterly margin, to the Southwesterly boundary
of Glen Cove Tie Road (County Road 316); thence
Northwesterly, along said Southwesterly boundary, to
the Southeasterly line of Discovery Road (County
Road No. 38); thence Southwesterly, along said South-
eaterly line, to said South line of Section 9; thence
East, along said South line, to the POINT OF BEGINNING:
b. The North 200 feet (as measured along the Westerly
boundary of State Highway No. SR20) of that portion of
the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of
Section 16, Township 30 North, Range 1 West W.M., in
Jefferson County, Washington lying Westerly of the
Westerly boundary of said State Highway and Easterly
of the center line of county road known as Discovery
Road; EXCEPT that portion thereof lying in said Discovery
Road. Tax No. 26 & 42.
Section 2. The ordinance shall take effect upon its passage,
approval and publication in the form and manner provided by
law.
Read for the first, seCond and third times, passed by the
