THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND IN REGULAR SESSION ASSEMBLED, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. From and after July 1, 1982, the salaries of the following City Employees are fixed at not to exceed the following sums, which salaries shall be paid monthly: Clerk-Treasurer Deputy Treasurer Police Chief Police Sergeant Patrolman 1st Class Patrolman 2nd Class Patrolman 3rd Class Meterperson Fire Chief Assistant Fire Chief Firefighter 1st Class Firefighter 3rd Class Poundmaster Street and Sewer Superintendent Work SupervisOr Equipment Operator Park Superintendent Park Assistant Water Superintendent Installer/Repairman Utility Accountant Treatment Plant Operator Assistant Treatment Plant Operator Maintenance Assistant Billing Clerk Equipment Superintendent Mechanic Secretary Deputy Clerk-Treasurer 2,666.66 1,647.57 2,111.40 2,033.19 1,954.14 1,906.76 1,749.58 1,268.85 2,111.40 2,116.94 1,954.14 1,749.58 1,795.80 2,192.61 1,814.54 1,782.09 1,691.79 1,323.00 2,070.79 1,345.17 1,554.38 1,749.06 1,600.42 1,157.63 1,306.90 2,070.79 1,713.55 1,333.04 1,333.04 Section 2. Effective July 1, 1982, and thereafter the maximum hourly wage for non-salaried City Employees shall be 315.00, and may be less where designated by the Mayor. Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage, approval and publication in the form and manner provided by law.
