Announcements/Adjournment - HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Date: May 3, 2016 Time: 3:00 pm Location: City Hall, First Floor Conference Room Members Present: James Manier; Cate Comerford; Brent Davis; Don Schussler; Richard Berg, Chair Members Excused: Charles Paul Staff Present: Senior Planner John McDonagh; Deputy City Clerk Joshua Stecker Topic Motions/Recommendation/Action Approval of Minutes: April 5, 2016 Unanimous approval HPC15-028 Clapp Building: The Committee reviewed the applicant’s request for positioning of new window fenestrations and elimination of existing windows and discussed the optimal materials for the new windows. The Committee unanimously recommended approving fenestrations and eliminations as presented with a recommendation to the applicant to increase the vertical height of the windows and increase the spacing between the panes. The Committee recommended that the corbels be removed only where necessary for new window fenestrations by a vote of 4-1. The Committee deferred discussion of Work Plan items to a future meeting date. Next Meeting: June 7, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. Adjourn: The meeting was adjourned at 4:15 p.m.
