ORDINANCE NO. ~q~
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF
$52,595 TO VARIOUS FUNDS
FUNDS AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, IN REGULAR SESSION
ASSEMBLED, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The sum of THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($3,000.00) is
here and hereby appropriated as a supplement to the 1982 Budget
of the City of Port Townsend in the Library Fund for Library
Assistants (120.572.20.10.02) for $1,000.00 and books (120.572.
20.64.07) for $2,000.00 as the result of un-budgeted revenue
from the Jefferson County Contract Payment.
Section 2. The sum of NINETEEN THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED SEVENTY
DOLLARS ($19,370.00) is here and hereby appropriated as a supplement
to the 1982 Budget of the City of Port Townsend in the Current
Expense Fund for Garbage Collection (534.40.41.07) for $18,000.00
for Special Legal Services - Fair Toll Coalition (515.20.41.07)
for $1,000.00 and for Police Weapons (521.00.64) for $370.00 as
a result of additional Garbage Collection Revenue and refunds.
Section 3. The sum of THIRTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($30,000.00)
is here and hereby appropriated as a supplement to the 1982 Budget
of the City of Port Townsend in the Street Fund to purchase materials
used on projects to be reimbursed from the Arterial Street Fund and
needed repairs to equipment.
Section 4. The sum of ~O HUNDRED TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS ($225.00)
is here and hereby appropriated as a supplement to the 1982 Budget
of the City of Port Townsend in the 1978 Water/Sewer Revenue Bond
Redemption Fund Series "B" to pay additional interest expenses.
Section 5. There is here and hereby found and declared to be
an emergency requiring the aforegoing appropriations to be said
1982 Budget of the City of Port Townsend.
Section 6. This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage,
approval, and publication in the form and manner provided by law.
