Please review the following questions.
Do you have existing DTM or LIDAR to be used to rectify the orthophotos?
The City of Port Townsend does not have existing DTM or LIDAR to be used to rectify the orthophotos.
In terms of liability, would the client be willing to include language in the agreement to hold-harmless in the event of unsuitable weather for the duration of the acquisition period?
Yes
From a technical standpoint, are deliverables are required to be in both MrSID and Geo-TIFF format or if just Geo-TIFF will suffice?
The deliverables are required to be in both MrSID and GeoTIFF formats
Wording suggests the client will review the sensor type and USGS certification. Is sensor certification expected or if suitable alternative technology will be acceptable?
USGS sensor certification is required for film. Digital sensors require the manufacturer’s calibration detail sheet.
What is the vintage of the most recent ortho imagery and its pixel resolution?
The City’s most recent ortho imagery is from 2004 and it has six inch pixel resolution.
Do the most recent orthos cover the same extent as the 2017 ortho extent?
The 2017 boundary is slightly larger.
