AN ORDINANCE FIXING AND ADOPTING THE 1983 BUDGET
FOR THE GENERAL CITY GOVERNMENT, THE WATER/SEWER
UTILITIES, AND BOND REDEMPTION FUNDS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POR~ TOWNSEND, IN REGULAR SESSION
ASSEMBLED, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Appropriation for the 1983 Budget is hereby made
for the General City Government for the purpose and in the amounts
following:

Library 116,120
Parks 77,522
Emergency Medical
Services 107,035
Arterial Streets 89,000
Federal Shared Revenue 95,935
Equipment Rental 287,235
Library Services/
Construction Act Grant 2,000
Firemen's Pension and

Hotel-Motel Transient
Tax 23,000
1956 Transmission Line
Replacement Fund 10,000
Section 2. Appropriation is hereby made for the 1983 Budget
for the Water/Sewer Utilities in the sum of $1,041,970.
Section 3. Appropriation is hereby made for the 1983 Budget
for the Bond Redemption Funds as follows:
1956 Water Renveue Bond
Redemption $141,743
1967 Water/Sewer Revenue
Bond Redemption 218,625
1978 Water/Sewer Revenue
Bond Redemption 51,750
1978 Water/Sewer Revenue
Bond Redemption "B" 129,669
Section 4. Due hearing having been held, the preceeding three
sections hereof and hereby fixed and adopted as the budget for the
year 1983 for the City of Port Townsend and its various utilities,
departments and funds.
Read for the first, second and third times, passed by the Council
and approved by the Mayor on De~~
