Topic Motions/Recommendation/Action
Approval of Minutes: September 7, 2016 The minutes were unanimously approved.
The Commission discussed the upcoming funding seminars
on October 15th (10am) and October 19th (6pm). Abbie Greene presented a draft presentation for the Commission
to review.
Stan Rubin will notify media outlets about the events. Owen
Rowe will bring a laptop and projector to the events. Abbie Greene will run the presentation. Lisa Wentworth will provide
refreshments.
The Commission discussed the 2016 Angel of the Arts and
Patron of the Arts awards.
Lisa Wentworth will coordinate the events again and develop
nomination forms for the Angel of the Arts award with a
deadline of December 31. The Commission will select award
recipients at the January 4 meeting. The event will be held on
March 10, 2017.
