MEMBERS PRESENT: Sarah Fairbank, Sarah McNulty, Ann Raymond (Chair), Sidonie Wilson
MEMBER(S) EXCUSED: None
STAFF PRESENT: Library Director Melody Eisler; Deputy City Clerk Joshua Stecker
The meeting was called to order at 3:30 p.m.
The Minutes of March 28, 2016 meeting were unanimously approved.
The Board unanimously recommended that Council approve Ordinance 3156 establishing a naming policy for City parks and
facilities.
Melody Eisler updated the Board on Library activities, including:
• $10,000 award received from Jefferson County Community Foundation for girl’s STEAM camps
• Fall adult programs starting up with Native American and paranormal themes
• Famers’ Market Storytime sessions
• 13,500 Summer Reading hours were logged, exceeding the goal of 10,000 hours
The Board reviewed a draft proposal for rules for use of City spaces and recommended adding language promoting good behavior.
The Board agreed to meet bi-monthly on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 3:30 p.m. starting in December. The next
meeting will be held on October 17th at 3:30 p.m.
The meeting adjourned at 5:14 p.m.
