AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1931.
THE CITY CO%~NCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, IN REGULAR
SESSION ASSEMBLED, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Ordinance No. 1931 is hereby amended by the
addition of a section to be inserted following Section 1 thereof,
as follows:
"Section lA. For the purposes of defining 'sewage
disposal,' as used in Section 1 hereof, the term shall not apply to
those persons or firms engaged in the pumping of septic tanks,
cesspools or holding tanks, and the hauling of materials thus
pumped."
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect on July 1,
1983, for the purpose of levying taxes pursuant to Ordinance No.
1931 in the ~-~ quarter of the year 1983, and thereafter.
Read for the first, second and third times, passed by the
Council and approved by the~~~
