AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING
THE SUM OF $7,260 FROM THE
MEMORIAL FUND AND DECLARING
AN EMERGENCY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, IN
REGULAR SESSION ASSEMBLED, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1) The sum of SEVEN THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED SIXTY
DOLLARS is here and hereby appropriated as a supple-
ment to the 1983 budget of the City of Port Townsend
in the Memorial Fund to defer expenses related to
the Jackson bequest as set forth in exhibit "A" attached
hereto~as though fully setforth herein.
Section 2) There is here and herby found and declared
to be an emergency requiring the aforegoing appropriation
to the 1983 budget of the City of Port Townsend.
Section 3) This ordinance shall take effect upon its
passage, approval, and publication in the form and
manner provided by law.
Read for the first time September 6, 1983.
Read for the second and third times, passed by the
Council and approved by the Mayor on September 20, 1983.
