AN ORDINANCE VACATING 15TH SRTEET FROM
DISCOVERY ROAD TO KATHERINE STREET AND
BETWEEN BLOCKS 328 AND "Z" OF THE EISENBEIS
ADDITION. KATHERINE STREET BETWEEN
DISCOVERY ROAD AND THE DEAD-END AT BLOCK
1 OF HAM~OND'S ADDITION AND GIBBS STREET
BETWEEN 14TH AND 15TH STREETS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, IN REGULAR SESSION
ASSEMBLED, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That portion of 15th Street from Discovery
Road to Katherine Street and between Blocks 328 and "Z" of
the Eisenbeis Addition and Katherine Street between Discovery
Road and the dead-end at Block 1 of Hammond's Addition and
Gibbs Street between 14th and 15th Streets be an the same
are hereby vacated.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall only be effective upon the
proper recording of a 40 foot wide traffic and utility easement
from Discovery Road to 14th Street, the easterly boundary of
which will be on a line with the easterly property line of
Lots 6,7, and 8 of Block 10, of the Phillip Addition in behalf
of the City.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
passage, approval and publication in the form and manner provided
by law.
Read for the first, second and third times and passed by
the Council and approved by the Mayor on November 15, 1983.
