RESOLUTION NO. 16-045
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND,
WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH GRAY AND OSBORNE, INC. TO
PROVIDE ASSISTANCE WITH THE WATER SYSTEM PLAN UPDATE
WHEREAS, the City is required to update the Water System Plan by September 1, 2017;
and
WHEREAS, the City does not have adequate staff to perform such work within the time
constraints; and
WHEREAS, the City does not have staff with the expertise to perform such work; and
WHEREAS,Gray and Osborne,Inc.has demonstrated experience in preparing water system
plans for other communities and in designing critical utility facilities, developing utility plans, and
modeling utility systems for the City in the past;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port
Townsend to authorize the City Manager to execute a professional services agreement with Gray and
Osborne, Inc. to assist the City with updating the Water System Plan.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend at a regular meeting thereof,
held this 17th day of October 2016.
