AN ORDINANCE ~KING AMENDMENTS TO SECTION 1 OF
ORDINANCE 1734, AND SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE 1728,
RELATING TO THE BUILDING CODE FOR THE CITY
OF PORT TOWNSEND.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, IN
REGULAR SESSION ASSEMBLED, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1~ Section 1 of Ordinance 1734 and Section 2
of Ordinance 1728, which are codified at Section 16.04.010
of the Port Townsend Municipal Code, are here and hereby
amended to read as follows:
There are adopted for the city, in conformance with the
State Building~Code Act, the following codes:
(A) The Uniform Building Code and Related Standards,
1982 Edition, published by the International Conference of
~uilding Officials, eXcept:
(i) The new category of occupancy group designated
"Group K occupancy"tlis established. Group K occupancy shall
