AN ORDINANCE FIXING AND ADOPTING THE
PROPERTY TAX LEVIES FOR THE YEAR OF 1986
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, IN REGULAR SESSION
ASSEMBLED, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. There is here and hereby levied upon all of the taxable
property in the City of Port Townsend for the year of 1986, a sum
as a general levy equal to the maximum amount allowable by law for
each $1,000 of assessed valuation thereof.
Section 2. There is here and hereby levied upon all of the taxable
property on the City of Port Townsend for the year of 1986, a sum
to support Emergency Medical Services equal to the maximum amount
allowable by law for each $1,000 of assessed valuation thereof.
Section 3. ThiS ordinance shall take effect upon its passage,
approval and publication in the form and manner provided by law.
Read for the first, second and third times, passed by the Council
and approved by the Mayor on October 1, 1985.
