AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $17,510 TO THE CURRENT
EXPENSE FUND, $4,000 TO THE PARK FUND, $500 TO THE HOTEL/MOTEL
TRANSIENT TAX FUND, AND $41,260 TO THE WATER-SEWER FUND
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, IN REGULAR SESSION
ASSEMBLED, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The sum of SEVENTEEN THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED AND TEN DOLLARS
($17,510.00) is here and hereby appropriated as a supplement to the 1985
Budget of the City of Port Townsend in the Current Expense fund to pay the
additional cost for insurance increasing account 010.02.514.200.46.431
by $16,000 and account 010.05.521.200.46.433 by $1,510. The additional to
come from the contingency account 010.00.587.000.70.700.
Section 2. The sum of FOUR THOUSAND DOLLARS ($4,000.00) is here
and hereby appropriated as a supplement to the 1985 Budget of the City of
Port Townsend in the Park fund for extra help during the summer in
account 130.13.575.100.11.103. The additional $4,000 w~ll come from a contract
with District Court for Juvenile Services account 130.338.270.00
Section 3. The sum of FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS($500.O0) is here and
hereby appropriated as a supplement to the 1985 Budget of the City
of Port Townsend in the Hotel/Motel Transient Tax fund for promotion of
the Wooden Boat Festival by reduction of estimated ending fund balance.
Section 4. The sum of ~ ONE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED SIXTY DOLLARS
($41,260.00) is here and hereby appropriated as a supplement to the
1985 Budget of the City of Port Townsend in the Water-Sewer fund to
pay for increases in Franchise Tax, Utility Tax, and settlement to the
Enveronmental Protection Agency as follows:

The additional expenses to be offset by reduction of estimated ending fund
balance.
Section 5. There is here and hereby found and declared to be an
emergency requiring the aforegoing appropriations to the said 1985
Budget of the City.of Port Townsend.
Section 6. This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage,
approval, and publication in the form and manner provided by law.
Read for the first time October 15, 1985. Read for the second and
third times, passed by the council and approved by the Mayor on
