AN ORDINANCE FIXING AND ADOPTING THE 1986BUDGET
FOR THE GENERAL CITY GOVERNMENT, THE WATER-SEWER
UTILITIES, AND BOND REDEMPTION FUNDS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, IN REGULAR SESSION ASSEMBLED,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Appropriation for the 1986 Budget is hereby made for the
General City Government for the purpose and in the amounts following:
Current Expense
Street
Library
Park
Emergency Medical Services
Arterial Streets
Federal Shared Revenue
Equipment Rental
Firemen's Pension and Relief
Hotel/Motel Transient Tax
Capital Improvement
Memorial
Kah Tai Lagoon Park

Section 2. Appropriation is hereby made of the 1986 Budget for the
Water-Sewer Utilities in the sum of $1,616,100
Section 3. Appropriation is hereby made for the 1986 Budget for the
bond redemption funds as follows:
1956 Water Revenue Bond Redemption $110,000
1956 Water Revenue Bond Reserve 683,631
1967 Water-Sewer Revenue Bond Redemption289,000
1978 Water Revenue Bond Redemption 55,000
1978 Water-Sewer Revenue Bond Redemption
Series "B" 175,000
Section 4. Due hearing having been held, the preceeding three sections
hereof are hereby fixed and adopted as the budget for the year of 1986
for the City of Port Townsend and its various utilities, departments and
Funds.
Read for the first, second, and third times, passed by the Council and
approved by the Mayor on December 17, 1985.
