AN ORDINANCE VACATING THAT PORTION OF
MORRIS0N STREET LYING BETWEEN STATE
ROUTE 20/SIMS WAY AND JEFFERSON STREET,
AND RESERVING A UTILITY EASEMENT
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, IN REGULAR SESSION
ASSEMBLED, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section_ 1. That portion of Morrison Street lying between
State Route 20/Sims Way and Jefferson Street within the City of
Port Townsend be and the same is hereby vacated.
Section 2. That the City reserves and retains in the
vacated street, for itself, its successors and assigns, a twelve
(12) foot utility easement, running six (6) feet on either side
from the centerline of the aforementioned vacated street.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
passage, approval and publication in the form and manner provided
by law.
Read for the first time, second and third times, passed
by the Council and approved by the Mayor on March . /..F/ , 1986.
