RESOLUTION NO. 16-027
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND,
WASHINGTON,AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO AWARD AND SIGN ALL
CONTRACTS FOR THE DESIGN OF THE SR20 PEDESTRIAN WALKWAY FROM
LOGAN STREET TO HANCOCK STREET PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City has been awarded a Peninsula Regional Transportation Planning
Organization(PRTPO) grant for the FY 2015 Transportation Alternative Program (TAP) for the
design and environmental permitting in the amount of$95,000; and
WHEREAS, City funds are needed for the match component totaling $25,000; and
WHEREAS, this project has been identified on the adopted City's 2016—2020 Capital
Improvement Program; and
WHEREAS, the City has selected PND Engineers, Inc. as the consultant for the design
of the SR20 Pedestrian Walkway from Logan Street to Hancock Street Project; and
WHEREAS,the City Council must authorize the City Manager to award and sign all
Contracts for the Design of the SR20 Pedestrian Walkway from Logan Street to Hancock Street
project;
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port
Townsend to authorize the City Manager to award and sign all contracts for the design of the
SR20 Pedestrian Walkway from Logan Street to Hancock Street project.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend at a regular meeting
thereof, held this 6t" day of June, 2016.
