RESOLUTION NO. 16-014
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND,
WASHINGTON,AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN
AGREEMENT WITH JEFFERSON COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE FOR
JOINT MARKETING SERVICES FOR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
WHEREAS,the Administration recommends that the City enter into an agreement with
Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce for joint marketing services in order to better
coordinate the City's marketing effort with local businesses and other government entities;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port
Townsend as follows:
Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to execute an agreement with the
Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce for joint marketing services for economic
development for 2016 in an amount not to exceed $17,500.
Section 2. The City Manager is authorized to take all administrative actions
consistent with the intent of this Resolution.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend at a special meeting
thereof, held this 4th day of April, 2016.
