NON-MOTORIZED TRANSPORTATION ADVISORY BOARD MEETING MINUTES

Topic Motions/Recommendation/Action
Approval of Minutes: February 4, 2016 Unanimous approval
Mayor Deborah Stinson, City Manager David Timmons and City Attorney Steve Gross
addressed the Board regarding potential changes to the rules and regulation concerning advisory boards. They highlighted Council’s concerns regarding Public Records Act and Open Public Meetings Act compliance, work plans, tasking requests,
agendas, term limits, potential volunteer activity liability, email correspondence, meeting times and accessibility and communications with Council and sought input from the Board.
Public Comment: Dan Burden commented on the potential role of advisory boards.
Trail Map Project: David McCullough reported that he has been in contact with Ken
Clow about the scope of the trail map project. He is waiting on guidance from City staff.
Rack Card Project: The rack card project was put on hold pending Council approval.
Trail Project: The next trail project will be at 16th & Hendricks near Grant Street
School on March 19th.
Next Meeting: Scheduled for April 6, 2016
