A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SIGN AN AMENDMENT TO THE
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH C112M HILL TO PROVIDE
ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR GENERAL WASTEWATER SYSTEM PROJECTS.
WHEREAS, the City entered into a Professional Services Contract with CH2M Hill (PSA 20) dated
February 7, 1997 to provide engineering services for general wastewater system
projects; and
WHEREAS, on April 6, 1998 the Council voted to extend the expiration date of this contract to
December 31, 1999; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to expand the scope of service to include technical assistance on the
San Juan Avenue Sewer Trunk Line Phase III and to provide permitting assistance
with the Compost Facility's Discharge permit; and
WHEREAS, the additional work will require an amendment to the agreement's maximum
dollar amount
N O W T H E R E F O R E
Be It Resolved that the City Council of the City of Port Townsend authorizes the City Manager
to sign an amendment to the Professional Services Agreements with CH2M Hill expanding the
scope of services and adding an amount not to exceed $12,356. to the contract's dollar amount.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend, and signed by the Mayor this
16th day of August, 1999.
