Minutes of the January 22, 2015, Special
Meeting
City Hall 1st Floor Conference Room
Call to Order The meeting was called to order at 4:30 p.m. Board members present were Jolly Wahlstrom, Lys Burden, Pat Teal, Scott Walker, Richard Dandridge, Mark Henthorn and Mike Kaill with
Sally Chapin and Hendrik Taatgen absent. Deputy City Clerk Joshua Stecker, Project Manager
Tyler Johnson and Senior Planner John McDonagh were also present from City Staff.
Street Vacation Application – Jefferson Healthcare John McDonagh asked the board to review Street Vacation Application #LUP14-072. The board recommended Council approve the application with the condition that non-motorized
connectivity be preserved to properties located on Cleveland Street to the north. The board also recommended that staff approve sidewalks where possible adjacent to property lines.
Trails Matrix Scott Walker gave some background information on the trails development process. The board
analyzed the draft trails matrix form and proposed revisions to be incorporated into the form for
a future workshop.
