Minutes of the May 7, 2015, Meeting

Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 4:30 p.m. Board members present were Jolly Wahlstrom,
Scott Walker, Lys Burden, Pat Teal and Sally Chapin with Mark Henthorn, Richard Dandridge,
Hendrik Taatgen and Mike Kaill absent. Deputy City Clerk Joshua Stecker, City Manager David
Timmons, Public Works Director Ken Clow, Project Manager Tyler Johnson and Senior Planner
Judy Surber were present from City Staff.
Approval of Minutes
The minutes of the April 2, 2015 meeting were unanimously approved.
Staff Report
City Manager David Timmons gave an overview of communication policies regarding volunteers
and advisory boards. Judy Surber gave a brief update on the status of the Comprehensive Plan.
Public Comment
Travis Rolland commented on trail use rules.
Trail Project
The next work project will be on Cleveland Street by 19th Street from 9:00-noon on May 30th.
Public Works Requests
The board requested vegetation management on Kearney Street, pedestrian access on 35th at
San Juan, signage for the O'Dell acquisition and five yards of gravel at the top of Howard Street.
Next Meeting
The next regularly scheduled meeting will be on June 4, 2015. Draft copies of Ordinance 3127
will be provided for review.

The meeting adjourned at 5:50 p.m.
