CITY COUNCIL
MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL BUSINESS MEETING OF JANUARY 28, 2008
CALL TO ORDER AND PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
The City Council of the City of Port Townsend met in special session the twenty-
eighth day of January 2008 at 8:50 p.m. in the third floor conference room of City
Hall, Mayor Michelle Sandoval presiding.
ROLL CALL
Council members present at roll call were, Brent Butler, David King, Laurie Medlicott,
George Randels, Catharine Robinson, Michelle Sandoval, and Mark Welch.
Staff members present were City Manager David Timmons, Planning Director Rick
Sepler, Public Works Director Ken Clow, Library Director Theresa Percy, and City
Clerk Pam Kolacy.

Motion.' Mrs. Medlicott moved for approval of the following appointments.

RESOLUTION 08-006
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND,
WASHINGTON, AMENDING RESOLUTION 07-023 REGARDING MEMBERSHIP
COMPOSITION OF THE ALTERNATIVE ELECTRIC MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE
Motion: Mrs. Medlicott moved for approval of Resolution 08-006. Mr Welch
seconded. The motion carried unanimously, 7-0, by voice vote.
RESOLUTION 08-007
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND,
WASHINGTON, AMENDING THE CITY COUNCIL RULE ON STANDING
COMMITTEES
Motion: Mr. King moved for approval of Resolution OS-007 amended to strike the
reporting committees (to be determined at a later date), change "General
Government" to "General Services" and remove references to the Transportation
Committee. Mrs. Medlicott seconded. The motion carried unanimously, 7-0, by
voice vote.
