A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSED,
WASHINGTON, AMENDING RESOLUTION 07-023 REGARDING MEMBERSHIP
COMPOSITION OF THE ALTERNATIVE ELECTRIC MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution 07-023 (passed July 9, 2007)
providing for an alternative energy committee to review and update the recommendations and
information in the 2000 Franchise Report, and explore issues concerning alternate energy
management:
WHEREAS, Resolution 07-023 provided for a membership of 14 persons, including one
Councilor.
WHEREAS, the City Council determines it appropriate to provide for a membership of 15
members including 2 Councilors
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port
Townsend as follows:
Section 4 Membership of Resolution 07-023 is amended to read as follows:
Section 4. Membership:
The Mayor, in consultation with the City Manager, shall recommend well-qualified individuals
to serve on a committee, for appointment by the Council. The committee shall consist of 15
members representing a broad range of interests in energy management as follows:

ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend at a special business
meeting thereof, held this twenty-eighth day of January 2008.
