RESOLUTION NO. 15-019
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND,
WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO AWARD AND SIGN ALL
CONTRACTS FOR THE DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF THE LANDES STREET
SIDEWALK PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City has been awarded a Transportation Improvement Board (TIB)
grant in the amount of$140,000; and
WHEREAS, additional funds are coming from federal funds ($50,000), City REET
funds ($20,000) and storm funds ($20,000; and
WHEREAS, this project has been identified on the adopted Washington State
Transportation Improvement Plan 2015-2018 and budgeted within the 2015 City's CIP; and
WHEREAS, the TIB grant requires that the project be closed out by December 31, 2015;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council must authorize the City Manager to award and sign all
contracts for the design and construction of the Landes Street sidewalk;
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port
Townsend to authorize the City Manager to award and sign all contracts for the design and
construction of the Landes Street sidewalk.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Tow send at a regular meeting
thereof, held this 6th day of April 2015.
