1. Call to order— roll call.
2. Approval of Dec 16, 2014 agenda.

6. Two Adopt A Park applications (one a renewal)
7. Brief overview of February 2015 DNR work crew assistance
8. PRT work plan 2014:
a. Volunteers for our parks-
i. Sather Park Ivy pull work parties every Tues. 1-3 by the No Ivy League.
ii. Next Kah Tai Park work party in Jan 2015 TBA. Dec 14, Nov 16, Oct 28, 9-noon
workparties at KTLNP. Each workparty had about 10 volunteer, planted native
plants, pulled Scots Broom and picked up garbage. Sep 27 joint PRTAB/NMTAB
trail maintenance had 10 volunteers distributing 7 yards of fine gravel on Kah Tai
trails. A special thanks to Matt Berberich, former chair of PRTAB for using his
gravel hauler to help distribute gravel the day before the work party.
iii. Linda Smith reported the Sather Park Hemlock Adopt a Park group completed
their fall cleanup of Sather Park Oct 2014. This is the 10th year of pulling Poison
Hemlock and Scots Broom. One partial bag and 2 hours work total is a strong
statement that these 2 invasive plants are now under control with only a small
amount of effort annually. They now plan on taking on the ivy growing south of the
fence up the trees after consulting with the No Ivy League
9. No camping in Parks.
b. Follow up on no camping sign for the Benedict Street entrance into Kah Tai Park.
c. Follow up on Camping in PT brochure produced by City.
10. Dog leash ordinance.
Leash law issue will be taken up by staff/Council in 2015, timing not known yet
11.Response to street end question from citizen (Debbie)
12.Porposed work plan inclusions for 2015:
a. Volunteer software possibilities
b. UGN Day of Caring effort for parks
c. Arbor Day effort
d. Discussion of grant proposal possibilities

14.Running List: Issues and changes that need to be considered for inclusion in future parks plan
updates (i.e., new park and open space facilities, grants, changed conditions in existing parks,
etc.). Parkside has a picnic shelter. Kah Tai has 3 new benches.
15.Next regularly scheduled PRTAB meeting Tuesday Jan 27 from 4:30-6pm? Future Meeting
