Minutes of the November 6, 2014, Regular

City Hall 1St Floor Conference Room
Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 4:40 p.m. Board members present were Jolly Wahlstrom,
Lys Burden, Mike Kaill, Sally Chapin and Pat Teal with Scott Walker and Richard Dandridge
excused and Tim Eaton absent. Deputy City Clerk Joshua Stecker was also present.
Approval of Minutes
The minutes of the October 2, 2014 Regular Meetings were unanimously approved.
Staff Report
Tyler Johnson sent a written report to the board detailing the status of projects on Sherman &
Hastings, 30th & Gise, bike racks at Elevated Ice Cream. And signage for the Rosewood
Community.
Projects
Brushing will occur on the Spruce Street trail on November 15. Work may be scheduled to open
the Landes Street trail in January.
Grant Street Trail
The Board would like to consider a trail on McClellan Street to avoid having to cut through Grant
Street School.
Budget Discussion
The Board would like clarification on the funding for advertising and finding out whether or not
the Spruce Street fence is in the 2014 budget.
Public Comment
There was no public comment.
Next Meeting
The next regularly scheduled meeting will be on December 4, 2014.
