RESOLUTION NO. 14-064
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND,
WASHINGTON,AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE AND
EXECUTE USE AGREEMENTS FOR SPACE AT MOUNTAIN VIEW
WHEREAS,the City of Port Townsend ("City") and Port Townsend School District
entered into an agreement on June 24, 2014, under which the City leases the school property
commonly known as the Mountain View campus; and,
WHEREAS,the City and the School District had each entered into leases or use
agreements with various non-profit entities to operate at Mountain View; and,
WHEREAS, all of these agreements need to be updated to reflect the current needs of the
City and of the occupants; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port
Townsend as follows:
Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to negotiate and execute use
agreements for a period not to exceed three years, with the following organizations: Port
Townsend Food Bank, Radio Port Townsend, the ReCyclery, the American Red Cross,
Olympic Peninsula Family YMCA and Working Image.
Section 2. The City Manager is authorized to take all administrative actions
consistent with the intent of this Resolution.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend at a regular meeting
thereof, held this 1 st day of December, 2014.
