Approval of Minutes Minutes of May 8 and June 5, 2014
were unanimously approved
A need for bicycle crossing signals on Sims Way at Haines and Kearney Streets was Tyler Johnson will check with WSDOT
identified. on the possibility of having bicycle
crossing signals installed
Board members expressed concern about vegetation from privately owned lands Tyler Johnson will check with Public
growing over City sidewalks. Options for enforcement or removal were discussed. Works Director Ken Clow about ways to
address the sidewalk problem.
The board discussed the Howard Street project and the Comprehensive Plan in Tyler Johnson will find out when and

The trails matrix sub-committee has not met yet.
Deborah Jahnke informed the board about the possibility of a grant through the Richard Dandridge will work with Ms.
People for Bikes program for bike racks and gravel. Jahnke to craft a letter of interest that
us due on August 1, 2014
The next trail work day will be in September, possibly working on Grant Street
The next scheduled board meeting is on Thursday, August 7, 2014
