NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Port Townsend City Council will conduct a public hearing on Monday, August 18, 2014 at
or about 6:30 p.m. in Council Chambers, 540 Water Street, Port Townsend, WA, to accept public
testimony on Interim Ordinance 3111 (adopted July 7, 2014) Amending Port Townsend
Municipal Code Chapter 17.18 and 17.20 Relating to Interim Land Use Regulations in the
Vicinity Between 6th and 10th Streets and Howard Street and Discovery Way, and Referring the
Matter to the Planning Commission for Hearing and Review, and Providing that the Interim
Regulations, Unless Extended, will Sunset on the Earlier of Six (6) Months from the Date of
Adoption of this Ordinance or the Adoption of Regulations that Supersede this Ordinance.
Persons wishing to testify to the City Council may do so either by submitting oral testimony
during the public hearing, or by submitting written comments to the City Clerk, 250 Madison
Street, Suite 2, Port Townsend, WA 98368. Written comments must be received by the close of
the public hearing on August 18, 2014. Ordinance 3111 is available for inspection in the City
Clerk's office on the second floor of City Hall.
