Changes to Agenda: Silas DeWise was added to the agenda
Approval of Minutes Minutes of May 1, 2014 were approved
unanimously
Spruce Street Acquisition: Scott Walker reported City Attorney John Watts is
working on an easement on Spruce Street
Hastings Avenue Hill Climb: Tyler Johnson reported City is considering adding a
double yellow line, share-the-road signs, and sharrows in the middle of the lane.
Sherman Street Trail Project: Neighbors have been notified about the June 14th
work day.
Public Works Street Painting: Street crews can be asked to refresh any street Tyler Johnson will check on having the
painting the committee identifies. Mr. Walker asked if Umatilla Street could have the center line removed from Umatilla

Trails Project Matrix: Mr. Walker would like to create a subcommittee to create the Jolly Wahlstrom & Lys Burden were

Public Comment: Silas DeWise volunteered to help on projects for the next five
weeks as a school project
Trails Grant: Deborah Jahnke has been working on preparing a grant for trail
maintenance equipment. The Board discussed equipment options and the number of
volunteer hours needed.
Safe Route To School for Grant Street Elementary School: Tyler Johnson
reported the City is currently reviewing the Board's suggestions.
Recruiting New Board Members: Lys Burden is working on options.
City Manager Bike Tour: Scott Walker toured the City with City Manager David
Timmons and will forward a list of identified issues to the Board members.
