Suspend formal acceptance of minutes.
Karl spoke about Summer band program with JC Historical Society. Programs will cost$311. Request up
to$400 in printing costs. Kris made a motion to fund up to $200, Dominica seconded, passed
unanimously.
Debbie Steel,Wearable Art program for pay-as-you-wish additional day. Erin suggested we not fund
because it does not fit our guidelines. Linda agreed. No action taken.
Harvey Putterman -$800, discussion to cut two performances since two were already done. Erin moved
to fund $1000-the same as last year. Kris seconded, passed unanimously.
St. Mary's of the Sea. Kris suggested we not fund since it is against our guidelines. Erin agreed. No
action taken.
Centrum, Caravan Serai. $950 funded last year for supplies and publicity. Rental space, stage crew,
contract tech support people cost$950. Dominica motioned to fund up to$950, Erin seconded, passed
unanimously.
Rainshadow Chorale. $820 funded last year, asking$900. Will wait to next meeting to decide.
Public Art update: Erin said appointments set for Wed April 16th, questions are prepared for appointed
times for interviews. Artists are amenable to amend proposals. Kris met with Jan Halliday and Ken Claw
for city signing-off on location for public art. Eric Gordon, landscaper, had proposed to do installation.
Plaque estimate: $500,working on wording. Friends of Arts paid $1600 for Tony Angell. Volunteers to
maintain piece.
