RESOLUTION NO. 14-031
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND,
WASHINGTON DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO PREPARE A
SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET ORDINANCE THAT FUNDS IMPROVEMENTS AND
PROVIDES FINANCING FOR THE LOCAL SHARE OF GRANTS FOR MOUNTAIN
VIEW
WHEREAS, on June 9, 2014, the City Council approved Resolutions 14-027, 14-028,
14-029, and 14-030 relating to a 15-year lease with the School District for Mountain View, and
authorizes grant approvals for partial funding of the emergency improvements, in order to effect
emergency repairs at Mountain View and maintain valuable community (Police Station, pool and
nonprofit entities); and
WHEREAS, in approving the above Resolutions, the City Council conditioned their
effectiveness on the City Council's approval of a supplemental budget that funds the
improvements and provides for financing of the local share of the grants,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port
Townsend as follows:
The City Manager is directed to prepare a supplemental budget ordinance with re-appropriation
of funds to fund emergency Mountain View improvements and provide for financing of the local
share of the grants for the City Council's consideration at its June 16, 2014 meeting.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend at a regular meeting
thereof, held this 9th day of June, 2014.
