RESOLUTION NO. 14-018
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND,
WASHINGTON,TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO SIGN A PUBLIC
WORKS CONTRACT WITH STRIPE RITE OF SUMNER,WASHINGTON, FOR THE
2014 STRIPING PROJECT
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend as follows:
WHEREAS,each year the City endeavors to maintain the striping and marking of the City
streets; and
WHEREAS, bids were solicited from the Small Works Roster to perform said work; and
WHEREAS, the low bid of $24,425.00 was submitted by Stripe Rite of Sumner,
Washington, through the Small Works process; and
WHEREAS,the City has determined that Stripe Rite has adequate capacity to perform said
work.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port
Townsend to authorize the City Manager to sign a contract to provide striping for City streets.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend at a regular meeting thereof,
held this 5th day of May, 2014.
