AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING SALARIES AND
WAGES EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 1, 1987
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND IN REGULAR SESSION ASSEMBLED
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. From and after October 1, 1987 the salaries of the following
city employees are fixed at not to exceed the following sums, which salaries
shall be paid monthly:
Deputy Treasurer
Patrolman 1st Class
Meterperson
Assistant Fire Chief
Firefighter 1st Class
Work Supervisor
Equipment Operator
Installer/Repaiman
Utility Accountant
Treatment Plant Operator
Mechanic

Section 2. Effective October 1, 1987 and thereafter the maximum hourly wage
for non-salaried city employees shall be $15.00 and may be less where designated
by the Mayor.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage, approval,
and publication in the form and manner provided by law.
Read for the first, second, and third times, passed by the Council and
approved by the Mayor on October 20, 1987.
