RESOLUTION NO. 14-011
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND,
WASHINGTON AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SIGN A SERVICES
CONTRACT WITH TECHNICAL FURNITURE SOLUTIONS TO REMOVE
SHELVING AT THE TEMPORARY LIBRARY LOCATION AND REINSTALL
SHELVING AT THE CARNEGIE LIBRARY
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend as follows:
WHEREAS, the Library moved to a temporary location at Mountain View; and
WHEREAS, the Library needed temporary shelving at the new temporary location; and
WHEREAS, Technical Furniture Solutions provided these temporary services; and
WHEREAS, Technical Furniture Solutions was selected through the RFP process; and
WHEREAS,Technical Furniture Solutions is providing these services at the same negotiated
rates; and
WHEREAS, City Council must authorize any services contract over$10,000.00
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port
Townsend to authorize the City Manager to sign a services agreement with Technical Furniture
Solutions to remove shelving at the temporary Library location and reinstall shelving at the Carnegie
Library.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend at a regular meeting
thereof, held this 21 st day of April 2014.
