GRANT OF EASEMENT
THIS GRANT OF EASEMENT is made this day of
1996, by EDWARD C. LLOYD, IRIS M. LLOYD, and HELEN CALL (' rantor") for the
benefit of THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, a Washington municipal corporation and
statutory city of the third class, and its assigns ("Grantee"), as follows:
an easement ten (10) feet in width adjacent to the Westerly boundary of Grantor's
real property described herein.
For and in consideration of the sum of TEN DOLLARS ($10.00) and other good and
valuable consideration, the receipt and adequacy of which is hereby acknowledged by
Grantor, Grantor hereby grants and conveys to Grantee the perpetual right in the nature
of an easement over, upon, across, under and through the real property of Grantor
described in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference for the
construction, installation, use, maintenance, repair, and replacement of water lines,
including a right of access through adjacent land of Grantor for construction purposes,
such right of access being limited to the duration of Grantee's construction activities.
Grantee shall restore Grantor's property to its condition immediately prior to the exercise
of any rights granted hereby.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF Grantor has signed this instrument on the date first above

Beginning at a point on the South line of
Block 266 of the Eisenbeis Addition to the City
of Port Townsend (produced) 66 feet East of the
Southeast corner of said Block, being the
initial point of this description; thence
running North, parallel to the East line of said
Block 266, a distance of 189 feet ; thence
running East to the meander line of Port
Townsend Bay at a point 352 feet South of the
South line of Block 243 of said Eisenbeis
Addition; then Southwesterly along said meander
line to a point 189 feet South of the ?north line
of the tract hereby conveyed (measured thence at a
right angle to said North line) a
parallel to said North line , to the initial
point of this description .
