Re: Compensation offer for an easement that is described by the
enclosed easement document.
Dear: Jennifer Turney
Based on the comparable sales taken from the Real Estate Digest
for the last two years and a formula of 30 to 40 percent for
damages, the City of Port Townsend is offering to compensate you
in the amount of $553.00 for the easement on your property. This
easement is to allow Puget Power to reconstruct the power line
that provides power to the North Beach area and the City's
wastewater treatment facility. This also will provide a more
reliable power system for the North Beach area.
I have enclosed the document that describes and grants the
easement that is needed on your property. If the offer is
acceptable, please sign the document in the presence of a notary
public and return it to me for recordation. Also enclosed is a
copy of the easement document for your records.
If you have any questions or concerns, Please give me a call at
(206) 385 -3193.
Sincerely,
