Dear: Jennifer Turney Based on the comparable sales taken from the Real Estate Digest for the last two years and a formula of 30 to 40 percent for damages, the City of Port Townsend is offering to compensate you in the amount of $553.00 for the easement on your property. This easement is to allow Puget Power to reconstruct the power line that provides power to the North Beach area and the City's wastewater treatment facility. This also will provide a more reliable power system for the North Beach area. I have enclosed the document that describes and grants the easement that is needed on your property.
