FOR a valuable consideration, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, the GRANTOR, Jefferson County, owner of the
above mentioned property hereby grants, conveys, establishes and creates a perpetual non - exclusive easement to the
GRANTEE, the City of Port Townsend, its successors and assigns, for the placement, maintenance, construction,
reconstruction, repair and upkeep of a thirty -inch diameter sanitary sewer and a twelve -inch diameter storm drain, together
with the rights of ingress, egress, and regress, over, under, along and across the following described portion of the above
referenced property:
The twenty -foot wide sanitary sewer and storm drain easements as shown on the attached "Exhibit A"
This easement is for the purpose of preserving the described property for utility proposes. This agreement shall be binding
upon the Owner, Owner's successors and assigns, and personal representatives, and the easement is acknowledged and
declared to be a covenant running with the above - mentioned land.
GRANTOR reserves the right to connect roof drains only from buildings located on GRANTOR'S property to GRANTEE's
storm drains located within the easement. All cost of connection shall be borne by GRANTOR. No other discharge of
drainage or surface water from GRANTOR'S property shall be placed in the storm lines without prior written approval of
GRANTEE, and subject to such requirements as GRANTEE. deems necessary, including, pretreatment to prevent pollutants
from entering the storm line.
