RESOLUTION NO. 05-025
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND,
WASHINGTON, FIXING THE TIME FOR HEARING ON A PETITION TO V ACA TE A
PORTION OF PLATTED 18th STREET ON THE NORTH SIDE OF BLOCK L, AND A
PORTION OF PLATTED 16th STREET ON THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF
BLOCK L, EISENBEIS ADDITION TO PORT TOWNSEND,
JEFFERSON COUNTY, WASHINGTON
BE IT RESOLVED, THAT:
The Port Townsend City Council shall conduct a public hearing on the
Street Vacation Application of Widmer/Great Western. The applicant proposes to vacate
a portion of platted 18th Street on the north side of Block L, and a portion of platted 161h
Street on the southwest comer of Rlock L, Eisenbeis Addition to Port Townsend,
Jefferson County, Washington. Block L is adjacent and to the north of Discovery Road,
and adjacent and to west of the driveway to Towne Point. The proposed street vacation
involves a short plat by the applicant of Block L (including the rights of way to be
vacated), resulting in a re-plat and dedication back to the City of new rights of way within
the new plat.
The hearing will be conducted at or about 7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 18, 2005, or
as otherwise set by the Mayor, in consultation with City Administration, in the event of
an administrative appeal being tìled preventing the hearing on July 18. The hearing is
scheduled for the temporary Council Chambers in the Waterman & Katz Building Cedar
Room, 181 Quincy Street, Port Townsend, Washington.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend at a regular
business meeting thereof, held this twentieth day of June, 2005.
